Prada is at it again!

After the hilarious collaboration with Roman Polanski last time around, Prada is back with a second short. And this time, it’s Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola at the helm. A quirky French love triangle, it features the product, not once but thrice! And I don’t mean a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo but a proper shot accompanied by a jingle. The best part? It still works to hilarious effect. Check out how.

And every time I see the guy in the beginning ask “How do you say banana split in French?” I’m reminded of a heartbroken Jason Schwartzman placing an order in French in Wes Anderson’s superb short Hotel Chevalier. A prologue to his The Darjeeling Limited, this touching, delightful gem soars way higher than the feature film itself. Do give it a watch. And don’t blame me if you fall in love with Natalie Portman all over again. :)
